LUCY - Loop Through University City
The Gold Loop takes passengers from 30th Street Station and 34th and Market streets to Penn Tower (across from the main entrance to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania), then goes to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
The Gold Loop shuttle runs every 10 minutes during peak times (7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm) and every 30 minutes from 9am to 4pm. The ride to Penn Tower takes 10 minutes from 30th Street Station and 5 minutes from 34th and Market streets.
LUCY is $2.00 or a SEPTA token for the public and is free with a SEPTA pass or ID from the University of Pennsylvania, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Drexel University, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the VA Medical Center.

Take I-95 south to the I-676/Central Philadelphia exit. Then take I-676 West (through Central Philadelphia) to the exit for I-76 East/International Airport. Merge right immediately, and then take Exit #39 (30th Street Station). At the top of the exit ramp, bear right, then follow the curve to the left around 30th Street Station. Proceed on Market Street for eight blocks to 38th Street. Turn right onto 38th Street.
From the West
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 326 (old exit 24), Valley Forge. Follow I-76 East to the 30th Street Exit. At the top of the exit ramp, bear right and then follow the curve to the left around 30th Street Station. Make right turn onto Market Street. Proceed on Market Street for eight blocks to 38th Street. Turn right onto 38th Street.
From the South
Take I-95 North past the Philadelphia International Airport. Take Exit 11 (I-76 West) to Central Philadelphia. Follow all signs for Central Philadelphia and I-76 West.
After crossing the Platt Bridge, proceed about a mile to a traffic light and turn left (continuing to follow signs for I-76 West). Continue on I-76 West past University Avenue exit and take Exit #39 (30th Street Station). Make a left onto Market Street. Proceed on Market Street for eight blocks to 38th Street.
From New Jersey
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 3, then the Black Horse Pike (Rte. 168 North) for one mile to I-295 South. Go one mile to Exit 26, I-76 West to the Walt Whitman Bridge. Cross the Bridge onto I-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) and follow I-76 West to Exit #39 (30th Street Station). At the top of the exit ramp, cross Chestnut Street and continue for one block to Market Street. Make a left onto Market Street. Proceed on Market Street for eight blocks to 38th Street. Turn right onto 38th Street.
From the Ben Franklin Bridge via I-676
Take the Benjamin Franklin Bridge to I-676 West (Vine St. Expressway). Follow I-676 West (through Central Philadelphia) to the exit for I-76 East/International Airport. Merge right immediately, and then take Exit #39 (30th Street Station). At the top of the exit ramp, bear right, then follow the curve to the left around 30th Street Station. Proceed on Market Street for eight blocks to 38th Street. Turn right onto 38th Street.
From West of Philadelphia
Travel east on Chestnut or Spruce St. to 38th Street. Turn left onto S 38th Street and continue until you reach Market Street. Hospital is located at 38th and Market.
From Center City
Travel west on Market Street, then make a right on N Juniper Street. Turn left onto John F. Kennedy Blvd, and then a right onto Schuylkill Avenue. Schuylkill Avenue will become Arch Street, which will then become N. 30th Street. Turn right onto John F. Kennedy Blvd, then make a right onto Market Street. Continue on Market Street until Hospital, which is located at 38th and Market.
From Northeast Philadelphia
Take Roosevelt Blvd. to I-76 East. Follow I-76 East to the 30th Street Exit, and continue west on Market St. to 38th St. Turn right onto 38th St. to enter the Penn Presbyterian campus.

Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is convenient to reach by several public transportation routes:
- The SEPTA Market/Frankford Blue Line (the elevated train/subway stops one block away from Penn Presbyterian Medical Center at 40th and Market streets.
- SEPTA bus routes 30 and 40 stop at 40th and Market streets, within one block of Presbyterian Medical Center.
- Two other SEPTA bus routes stop within a few blocks of Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
- The westbound 21 stops at 40th and Walnut streets.
- The eastbound 21 stops at 40th and Chestnut streets.
- The 42 stops at 40th and Spruce Streets.
- All SEPTA Regional Rail Lines stop at 30th Street Station. From there, take the Market-Frankfort Blue Line west two stops to 40th Street. Taxi service is also available from 30th Street Station to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Airport Express Train
The SEPTA R1 Airport train leaves Philadelphia International Airport every 30 minutes. Take the R1 train to 30th Street Station. From there, take the Market-Frankfort (Blue) elevated-subway line west two stops to 40th Street. Taxi service is also available from 30th Street Station to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
LUCY - Loop Through University City
The University City District's LUCY shuttles run throughout the day from 30th Street Station to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Philadelphia VA Medical Center (VAMC) and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center campuses.
The Gold Loop takes passengers from 30th Street Station to 34th and Market streets, HUP, Philadelphia VAMC and then Penn Presbyterian Medical Center before returning to 30th Street Station.
The Green Loop takes passengers from 30th Street Station to 34th and Market streets, 3701, Market Street, Penn Presbyterian, Philadelphia VAMC and HUP before returning to the 30th Street Station.

SEPTA'S R-5 Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line stops at the Radnor train station, which is approximately one block from Penn Medicine Radnor. Coming from Center City and points east, please take the walkway under the rail line to the other side of the tracks. Once you leave the tunnel, King of Prussia Road is on your right. Turn left and follow King of Prussia Road to the next traffic light and cross at the cross walk. At the bottom of the hill you will see the entrance to Penn Medicine Radnor.
From Paoli/Thorndale and points west, when you exit the platform King of Prussia Road is on your right. Follow the directions above to Penn Medicine Radnor.
SEPTA'S 100 Surface Trolley stops at the Radnor station, which is approximately two blocks from Penn Medicine Radnor. The station is located off of King of Prussia Road. Upon leaving the station, walk to King of Prussia Road, turn right and Penn Medicine Radnor will be on the left directly across from 201 King of Prussia Road.
