Overview
One of the largest and most respected programs in the world, Penn Radiation Oncology has a system of treatment sites that provide expert, state-of-the-art cancer diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment at locations convenient for patients in the Philadelphia region.
Penn Radiation Oncology offers advanced services at two locations in Philadelphia — the Ruth and Raymond Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (which houses the Roberts Proton Therapy Center) in University City, and Pennsylvania Hospital in the Society Hill section of the city.
Through the Penn Radiation Oncology Network, patients are also able to receive radiation therapy by a Penn radiation oncologist at community network sites throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Full-time, board certified, Penn faculty direct and administer an array of radiation treatments at these locations. For patients requiring more specialized care, the network sites also provide a gateway to Penn Medicine.
All of Penn's radiation oncologists work as part of an interdisciplinary team of medical and surgical oncologists to deliver the latest therapies and assure that patients receive optimal care.
