Public Transportation
The following public transportation options
are available to assist you in getting to the
Perelman Center:
Amtrak
Amtrak trains stop at 30th Street Station. See
SEPTA information below for travel to the hospital
from 30th Street Station. Taxi service also
is available at 30th Street Station.
SEPTA Regional Rail
The Airport, Marcus Hook-Wilmington, Media-Elwyn and most Glenside-Jenkintown, Warminster and West Trenton trains provide direct service to the University City Station on the Medical Center campus. From other Regional Rail lines, transfer free to the Airport, Marcus Hook-Wilmington, Media-Elwyn and most Glenside-Jenkintown, Warminster and West Trenton trains at 30th Street or Market East stations. Your train ticket is your transfer.
LUCY – Loop Through University City
The University City District's LUCY shuttle runs to HUP and Penn Tower
at 34th and Spruce streets. The fare is $2.
New Jersey PATCO Trains
Take the PATCO line to 8th and Market streets.
Follow the underground concourse to the SEPTA
Market East station. From there, the R1 Airport,
R2 Marcus Hook-Wilmington, and R3 Media-Elwyn
regional rail lines provide direct service to
the University City Station on the HUP campus.
