Getting a Second Opinion

Anyone diagnosed with a serious medical illness should consider obtaining a second opinion as part of the treatment process. For those who are interested, Pennsylvania Hospital cancer specialists, along with other members of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network, provide high quality consultations to people diagnosed with both rare and common forms of cancer.

Second opinions are available for newly diagnosed patients as well as for those who have experienced a change in their conditions and need reassessments or more extensive evaluations.

Once an assessment has been completed, you will be redirected to your original doctor. Access to Pennsylvania Hospital doctors is easy and appointments are made promptly.
