Supportive Care
At the Joan Karnell Cancer Center, supportive
care is
the essence of compassionate cancer care. Support
comes in a variety of shapes and sizes to match
your needs and concerns as you work to combat
cancer.
We offer help in the form of one-on-one
meetings with professional staff and support
groups, which offer you the chance to talk
to others who have faced similar illnesses
and learn how they cope with their disease. Such
opportunities for supportive care include:
- Social work services for HIV oncology
- Nutrition services for HIV oncology
- Psychology, music and art therapy for HIV
oncology
- Integrative therapies for HIV oncology
