Community Resources for GYN Oncology Patients

There are many organizations in the community that offer valuable resources for gynecologic cancer patients. For more information, take a look at the resources below.

American Cancer Society (ACS)

ACS is a national organization that provides support services and resources to patients and families coping with cancer.

CancerCare is a national non-profit organization that provides free professional support services for anyone affected by cancer.

Dedicated to providing comprehensive information on the prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer, daily news, and clinical trials listings for ovarian cancer patients and their families.

Cancer Hope Network

Cancer Hope Network is a not-for-profit organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one support to cancer patients and their families. They provide that support by matching cancer patients and/or family members with trained volunteers who have undergone and recovered from a similar cancer experience. Through this matching process, they strive to provide support and hope, to help patients and family members look beyond the diagnosis, cope with treatment, and start living life to its fullest once again.

Gilda's Club of Delaware Valley

Provides free social and emotional support for people with cancer and their families and friends, through support and networking groups, lecture, workshops and social events in a non-residential, home-like setting.

Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF)

Ensures public awareness of gynecologic cancer prevention, early diagnosis and proper treatment as well as supports research and training related to gynecologic cancers.

Healthy Woman Program

This program provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services, including mammograms, clinical breast exams, pelvic exams, and Pap tests to qualifying women. To qualify you must be under age 64, have limited or no insurance, and have low to moderate income.



National Cervical Cancer Coalition

Dedicated to serving women with, or at risk for, cervical cancer and HPV disease.
