Participation in Familial Research
Pennsylvania Hospital is part of Penn Medicine and has a collaborative research affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania’s Abramson Cancer Center. Your participation in the Cancer Risk Evaluation Program at Pennsylvania Hospital also may present an opportunity to participate in research evaluating yet undiscovered genetic and environmental causes of cancer.
This research is working to better understand the role of genetics in cancer development. The primary investigators in this research at Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center are Susan Domchek, MD, and Kate Nathanson, MD. This research may involve studies of chemoprevention, genetics, and clinical screening.
