Breast Cancer: Early Detection is the Key (October 3, 2007)
More than 40 women gathered to learn the latest information in prevention and early detection of breast cancer. Held at the Oceanaire Seafood Room, the program featured information on the latest breast imaging techniques, a health fair, and a Q&A with Dahlia Sataloff, MD, Director of the Integrated Breast Center at Pennsylvania Hospital and Brian
Englander, MD, Director of Women's Imaging, Pennsylvania Hospital.

Great American Smokeout (November 15, 2007)
People wanting to quit smoking received plenty of support and information at The
Great American Smoke Out. Sponsored by the Joan Karnell Cancer Center and
the Department of Respiratory Care Services at Pennsylvania Hospital, the free
event included a health fair, live entertainment and giveaways.

The American Cancer Society shared
information on ways to quit smoking.
