Gifts from patients, families and friends of
the Joan Karnell Cancer Center have provided
the needed resources that have allowed us to
create supportive cancer care for all patients,
regardless of their ability to pay. With these
additional funds, we are able to provide important
support to our patients and advance our knowledge
of how to prevent and treat cancer.

Cancer Center. A notice regarding each generous
gift will be sent to the individual honored or
to the family of someone memorialized.

Honorariums and Celebration Gifts
We invite you to support the Karnell Cancer Center and honor friends and loved
ones on special occasions by making a gift. Contributions for birthdays, anniversaries,
weddings, or other important events are a wonderful way to pay special tribute
to individuals and support cancer research and patient care. Additionally,
honorariums and celebration gifts are wonderful ways to recognize the courage
and spirit of a cancer survivor.

Tribute Cards
Joan Karnell Cancer Center tribute cards are
on sale now. The sale of these cards helps to
raise money for supportive care services, which
reduce suffering, relieve symptoms and provide
hope to cancer patients and their families. The
funds will help Joan Karnell Cancer Center to

Partners in Fundraising
The Joan Karnell Cancer Center is proud to announce our partnership with the Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance. Now in its thirteenth year as a nationally recognized motor car event, the Concours will be held on September 11 and 12, 2010 at the Radnor Hunt Club.
The Board of Directors of the Concours d’Elegance has chosen the Joan Karnell Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital as one of its beneficiaries of the 2010 event.
