Skin Care Tips

Your skin is a reflection of your overall health. Wearing sunblock, eating healthy, exercising regularly and not smoking add to your general well-being and make your skin healthier.

  • Wear sunblock with an SPF of at least 15 every day. Many moisturizers and foundations are available with sunblock.
  • Drink six to eight glasses of water every day and eat a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
  • Wash your face, gently. Abrasive washing can aggravate conditions like adult acne. If you like using soap, choose a moisturizing soap without colors or perfumes.
  • Moisturize after your shower when your skin is still damp. It plumps up the skin and hides fine wrinkles.
  • Designer products aren't necessary for basic skin care. Our experts agree that many generic products in your local drugstore work just as well.
