The Clinical Practices of the University of
Pennsylvania (CPUP) are an integral part of the
University of Pennsylvania Health System. With
a faculty practice plan and two multispecialty
satellite facilities providing over 2 million
outpatient visits per year, CPUP nurses ensure
continuity across the care continuum as they
partner with our physicians who are repeatedly
listed in Philadelphia Magazine's “Top
Docs” issue.
The exceptionally skilled nursing staff of CPUP
is key to the outstanding reputation of the services
we offer. Ambulatory care is provided
in approximately 150 practice locations across
the Delaware Valley including West Philadelphia
and Radnor, Pennsylvania as well as Cherry Hill,
NJ. Women's health, infertility,
internal medicine, surgery, cardiovascular services,
neuroscience, psychiatry, dermatology and rehabilitation
are just a few of the 50 specialties and subspecialties
in which you can continue your nursing career.
One of the largest cancer centers in the country,
the Abramson
Cancer Center is a national
leader in cancer research, patient care and education.
The center has had for 30 years, continuous designation
as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National
Cancer Institute.
Penn Medicine at Radnor located
at 250 King of Prussia Road, offers patients
premier specialty and primary care with expertise
in more than 30 specialties, as well as a Women's
Imaging Center. To meet the needs of the community
we also provide a variety of on-site health education
programs. This spacious facility is highly accessible
from all major Philadelphia interstates and the
PA Turnpike.
Penn Medicine and Penn Cardiology at Cherry
Hill is centrally located at 409 Route
70 East. This 10,000 square foot multi-specialty
facility brings world-class medicine to South
Jersey. The services offered at Penn
Medicine and Penn Cardiology at Cherry Hill
include cancer care, orthopaedics, women's
health, immunizations, cardiac rehabilitation,
and internal medicine.
Our new Perelman
Center for Advanced Medicine,
scheduled to open in 2008 will offer even more
opportunities for nurses interested in caring
for patients and families. This state-of-the-art
outpatient center will offer the most advanced
treatment options available.
The relationships with local Schools of Nursing
contribute to an environment that is dynamic
and rewarding. Clinical experiences for
students is enhanced by excellent mentoring by
our CPUP Nursing staff.
Each year, CPUP nurses receive recognition for
clinical judgment and decision making, nurse-patient/family
relationship, clinical leadership and clinical
scholarship.
