Since its inception, the Hospital
of the University of Pennsylvania has provided
quality outpatient care which continues today
through the Clinical Practices of the University
of Pennsylvania (CPUP).
The Nurses in our clinical
practices provide high quality, individualized,
safe nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
They are valued members of a multidisciplinary
team who has a long, proud tradition of outstanding
nursing care. This outstanding care is the
common thread that keeps our patients and families
connected to our services both in and outpatient.
Continuing
your career in CPUP provides you an opportunity
to grow and develop professionally. Opportunities
for learning are limitless. Educational programs
directed to outpatient practice and our pre-paid
tuition benefit are offered as part of our commitment
to excellence.
Our dynamic nursing department responds quickly
to changes in the healthcare industry so that
you are paid competitively and can always feel
you are on the cutting edge of the best outpatient
nursing care in the world.
We believe that your ideas and opinions are
very important. Multi-directional communication
strategies have been established to that your
voice is heard.
We believe through working collaboratively with
members of other disciplines and departments,
CPUP Nursing supports the health system in maintaining
its reputation as a world-class health organization,
a center of excellence and an employer of choice.
I invite you to journey with me to challenge
and to constantly redesign our future in order
to continue to provide the best nursing care
possible.
Sincerely,
