About Our Team

The Center for Cranial Base Surgery

The Center for Cranial Base Surgery offers expert evaluation and treatment of tumors of the head, neck, face and other complex skull-base disorders. With the development of innovative and minimally invasive surgical procedures and state-of-the-art imaging, many of these tumors, previously inaccessible, can now be successfully treated.

Given the complexity of many cranial base disorders, The Center for Cranial Base Surgery uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining the expertise of Penn specialists in otorhinolaryngology – head and neck surgery, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, radiation oncology, oncology, and The Center for Head and Neck Cancer.

Throughout the course of a patient’s comprehensive care, additional support is provided by experienced physical and occupational therapists, speech and swallowing therapists, rehabilitation medicine physicians, social workers, endocrinologists, neuro-ophthalmologists and dieticians.
