Penn Lung Transplant Program is home to one of the most experienced programs in the country, having performed more than 500 lung transplants. Penn’s successful transplant outcomes have consistently equaled or exceeded national averages, a testament to the quality of care we provide to the sickest patients. At Penn, we strive to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each patient in a caring and professional environment.

The Penn Lung Transplant Program brings together a multidisciplinary team of specialists who collaborate on patient care and maintain constant communication throughout the transplant process. Penn is also one of the few centers in the nation performing multi-organ transplantation such as lung/liver and heart/lung transplantation.
