Penn nephrologists work closely with referring doctors to help diagnose and treat patients who have kidney disorders. In addition to providing consultations, the faculty and staff of Penn's Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension Division organize and lead academic conferences, advance research in the field of nephrology, and work together to educate and empower the next generation of nephrologists.
The department also publishes a semi-annual newsletter, the Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension Division Update.
