A Tradition of Excellence
 The
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) has been selected for the "Honor Roll" of best hospitals in America.
The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania was the only hospital in the Philadelphia region, and one of only 21 hospitals nationwide, to receive the "Honor Roll" recognition for excellence in multiple specialties.
Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation's first
hospital, is home to the best medical services
including: the Penn Neurological Institute, which
includes the Parkinson's Disease and Movement
Disorders Center; the Joan Karnell Cancer Center;
and Penn Orthopaedics, which includes the Sports
Medicine and Rehabilitation Center.
Located in Society Hill, Pennsylvania Hospital
is close to many museums and tourist attractions.
