Infectious Disease Services at Penn

Specialists in Penn's infectious diseases division offer consultation regarding infectious disease problems, such as viral infections, diarrhea, tuberculosis, osteomyelitis, parasitology, and HIV. In particular, treatment is available for patients with problems associated with immunosupression and international travel. Primary care is also available for HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C patients.

The Penn Center for AIDS Research is one of 18 NIH-funded centers for AIDS research. The Center identifies funding opportunities and encourages involvement by Penn investigators in new and emerging areas of AIDS research.
