Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Volunteers provide service to patients and caregivers from all over the world in one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. Volunteers play an important role in patient satisfaction and offer an added dimension of personal service to our patients and caregivers.     Adult Volunteer Program

    The Adult Volunteer Program welcomes community members who are 18 years of age and older the opportunity to help improve the hospital experience for patients, their families, caregivers and the hospital staff.

    The College Volunteer Program provides an opportunity to those on a career path to the medical field an opportunity to gain valuable hospital experience and exposure to medicine at a premiere institution.

  • Teen Volunteer Program

    Summer Teen Volunteer Program

    The Teen Volunteer Program provides high school students who are at least 14 years old with career exposure to a variety of healthcare professions.

    The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania offers the Teen Volunteer Program from June to August. Parents/guardians can print an application from this website by April of each year. The Teen Application deadline is in May of each year.
