The Penn Difference
Offering Comprehensive Care, All in One Place
Penn Medicine's Preventive Cardiovascular Program offers a wide range of services to individuals looking to learn what their risk is for cardiovascular disease or those who currently suffer from cardiovascular disease and are seeking optimal medical therapy.
From individualized nutritional counseling to the latest diagnostic methods and novel therapies, Penn utilizes a wide array of resources – all housed within the Pereleman Center for Advanced Medicine – to help in the fight against heart and vascular disease.
Setting the Standard for Prevention
Penn's preventive cardiovascular team actively contributes to the development of national guidelines for the management of abnormal cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
The team receives requests for consultations from doctors and patients across the country and abroad to review complex cases. Penn also helps to train other physicians by hosting preceptorships, giving invited lectures, speaking and moderating at national conferences, and publishing articles that cover critical aspects of preventive cardiovascular care.
Pioneering Advances in Preventive Care
