Philadelphia's favorite snack food is the soft pretzel, sometimes topped with mustard. Soft pretzels are a staple of students running late for class and people all over the city looking for a quick bite.

Good news: soft pretzels are low in fat and quite filling. The average soft pretzel -- about 6 inches long and weighing about 4 oz. (not the huge pretzel log) is about 390 calories and has just 3.5 grams of fat. Topping your pretzel with three teaspoons of mustard adds about 15 calories.

Note: Be aware that ingredients and cooking methods can vary, so the foods you order may not match these nutritional counts exactly.
