Give Blood
The need for blood is great. On any given day, patients at Penn Medicine hospitals receive blood during surgery or while being treated for cancer or other conditions. In fact, one out of every 10 hospital patients needs a blood transfusion. For these patients, there is no substitute for human blood.

Attend the Philadelphia Antiques Show
April 13–15, 2013
The Philadelphia Antiques Show is one of the longest running antiques shows in the country. 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of the Show, and it continues to be internationally acclaimed as the premier American antiques and decorative arts show in the country. One of the hallmark features of the Show is that it annually donates its proceeds to Penn Medicine. In total, the Show has raised over $17 million towards the advancement of patient care at Penn Medicine.
