Still’s disease, also known as adult-onset Still’s disease, is a rare, inflammatory type of arthritis. It affects the joints, especially the wrists, and can damage them. It may happen only once or may come back or continue.

Symptoms of Still's disease include:

  • muscle and joint pain
  • sore throat
  • swollen lymph nodes
  • high fever that happens for a week or more
  • a rash that occurs with the fever
  • abdominal swelling and pain
