Shirley's Story

I am 24 years old and have been trying to conceive for almost one year. I have taken clomid, ended up with a cyst and laparoscopic surgery was done. Now started menopur injections and hcg with intrauterine insemination (IUI).

Now the IUI is done and I am waiting for two weeks before my cycle starts, but I get this sharp shooting pain on the side of my ovaries like my cyst. I called my doctor's office and explained the story. They will not see me until I get my cycle or get pregnant. The nurse says my ovaries are full with fluid due to follicles that were not mature.

I know I have a cyst and that is another surgery. I can't wait for my appointment in 5 days. I am so tired and stressed. I pray that God should not punish us, a couple that is so eager to start a family.

Is it fair for couples that don't even love or care for children to have them? May be I will never conceive. I understand what all of the trying to conceive couples are going through. Lots of love and hugs going to you all.
