PennCare® at Rittenhouse Opens The University of Pennsylvania Health System is pleased to announce the opening of PennCare at Rittenhouse, a new comprehensive health care practice located on the Penn Medicine at Rittenhouse campus. PennCare at Rittenhouse provides health care to people age 15 and older in a warm and inviting setting. Patients have access to a host of medical services, including outpatient radiology, the surgery center of Pennsylvania Hospital, Good Shepherd Penn Partners physical Rehabilitation services and the Pain Medicine Center of Pennsylvania Hospital.
Seeing patients at PennCare at Rittenhouse are Christine Pluta, DO, and Elizaveta Tikhonova, MD. Dr. Pluta received her osteopathic medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she also completed her internship and residency in osteopathic medicine. She is board certified in family medicine and is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Tikhonova received her medical degree from Pavlov State Medical University of Saint Petersburg in Russia. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Mercy Catholic Medical Center. Dr. Tikhonova is board certified in internal medicine and is fluent in Russian.
