Your voice and swallowing functions are a vital part of your everyday life. Having a voice or swallowing disorder can greatly limit your ability to eat, drink or communicate comfortably. The Penn Center for Voice and Swallowing at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is dedicated to evaluating and treating voice and swallowing disorders affecting anyone from the professional vocalist to the general public.

With a team of nationally recognized specialists, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and the resources of HUP, we offer patients comprehensive and complete care of the voice and swallowing systems.

Our specialists employ a multidisciplinary approach to provide an individualized treatment plan for every patient. Patients benefit from the convenience of visiting the team of otolaryngologists, speech language pathologists, electrophysiologists and specially trained nurses, all within the same day and in one easily accessible location.
