Voice, Speech and Swallowing Disorders

Our otorhinolaryngologists treat problems and conditions of the mouth, oral cavity, salivary glands, voice box (larynx), esophagus, thyroid gland or swallowing disorders.

In addition, our otorhinolaryngologists represent a dedicated program for treating a wide range of voice disorders affecting many types of people, including professional singers, actors, school teachers and speakers. Our ENT surgeons specialize in many delicate and precise procedures affecting the voice including:

  • vocal fold injections done for scarring or to close gaps from paralysis or atrophy
  • comprehensive videostroboscopic examination of the voice is performed to determine individual patient pathology and a specific treatment plan is coordinated to best rehabilitate the voice

Our team includes otolaryngologists, speech language therapists, singing and voice coaches, neurologists and gastroenterologists.
