Cranial Base Surgery

Penn's multidisiciplinary approach to skull base surgery for benign or malignant tumors include using innovative techniques and state-of-the-art technology to perform minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery.

Our ENT surgeons work in consultation with a team of specialists including neurosurgeons, radiologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists. The team at The Center for Cranial Base Surgery meets weekly to review each patient's medical background and determine the best approach for treatment.

Our head and neck surgeons also work closely with the Penn Gamma Knife Center at Pennsylvania Hospital for diagnosis and treatment options for skull base tumors and related conditions.
