Emergency Medicine at Penn

Emergency medicine services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at all three Penn hospitals.

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is a Level 1 Trauma Center and provides state-of-the-art support for trauma patients, cases and emergencies. The departments of Emergency Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center provide a full range of critical care, medical and surgical evaluations. Physicians are board-certified in emergency medicine and/or internal medicine and have experience in the evaluation and stabilization of complex, undifferentiated medical or surgical problems.
