Working at PennCare®
PennCare, Penn Medicine's network of primary care physicians, is one of the largest primary care practice networks in Philadelphia, its suburbs and outlying counties and southern New Jersey.
Operating as Clinical Care Associates (CCA) / Clinical Health Care Associates of New Jersey, P.C. (CHCA), PennCare is a primary and specialty care network of physicians. Established to provide high-quality health care in communities throughout the region, PennCare physicians have direct access to regional hospitals as well as to the vast resources within Penn Medicine, including consultation with physicians at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Pennsylvania Hospital.
Employing approximately 150 physicians, 30 mid-level providers (CRNP/physician assistants/midwives), and 600 support employees, PennCare providers average more than 650,000 patient visits per year. The practices provide care in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, ob/gyn (including birthing suite), orthopaedics and hematology/oncology, endocrinology, and pediatrics.
People throughout the Philadelphia region rely on PennCare physicians and their staff to provide the expert medical care and attention they and their families need. From screening and early childhood immunizations, to ongoing prevention and treatment of illnesses, they provide the kind of routine or more specialized care patients need to stay healthy.
PennCare is committed to excellence, efficiency, collaboration, service and integrity.
