Penn Care at Home

Penn Care at Home is a premiere provider of quality, compassionate and innovative nursing services in the home. This care allows patients to recover at home from a variety of diagnoses, including congestive heart failure, orthopaedic surgery, diabetes, stroke, cancer, and respiratory illness. Physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as social work services are available to assist with patient recovery.

Penn Home Infusion Therapy

Penn Home Infusion Therapy nurses provide infusion care for patients in Philadelphia, its five surrounding counties and New Jersey. Penn Home Infusion Therapy offers the most recent oncology patient care standards, including pain and symptom management; new protocols for cardiology; as well as antibiotic, anticoagulant, hydration, and total parenteral (TPN) therapies.

Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse: Inpatient Hospice Unit

Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse offers a philosophy of care for people with serious and progressive illnesses, such as heart disease, lung disease, cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Hospice care focuses on symptom relief and quality of life, rather than curing illness. Most people choose to receive hospice care in their homes; however, when symptoms such as pain cannot be managed in the home, patients can choose to receive care in the inpatient hospice unit, Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse.

Penn Wissahickon Hospice

Penn Wissahickon Hospice is one of the oldest and largest hospice programs in the Philadelphia region, and was the first Medicare-certified hospice in Pennsylvania. Using a team approach, this program provides pain management and care for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses such as cancer, end-stage heart disease, end-stage dementia, and other terminal illnesses.
