Recipe: Cherry Pear Crisp

Cherry Pear Crisp


Nutritional Analysis per serving:

Ingredients:

Topping

  • 2 ¼ ounces of Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
  • ½ cup & 6 teaspoons brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup & 8 teaspoons all purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ ounces margarine


  • Filling

  • 1 pound & 10 ounces cherry pie filling
  • 1 ¼ cup diced pears in lite syrup, drained
  • 1 tablespoon & 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon & 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 4 ounces aluminum cups or 4 ounces ramekins

Procedure

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine oats, brown sugar and flour. Add margarine.
  • Cut margarine in until mixture is crumbly. Set aside.
  • Combine pie filling, pears, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and almond extract. Mix well.
  • Place approximately 3 ounces of filling in each cup/ramekin. Spread topping over filling in each cup.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  • Serve warm.
