Patient Support Network

You become friends with people with a common goalOne of the most important keys to achieving success with bariatric surgery is having a strong support system. We recognize that individual patient experiences are invaluable resources that are beneficial for the whole group. The Penn Bariatric Surgery Program is working to strengthen the patient community by providing as many forums for support and communication as possible. We have a monthly support group for pre- and postoperative patients. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your personal experience with others, and receive support from the Penn bariatric community. We hope the online discussion board and chat features can be an additional "support group" as well.
