South Street Bridge Closure
December 8, 2008 – December 2010
Philadelphia's South
Street Bridge is now closed for reconstruction.
The demolition and rebuilding of the bridge
requires the complete closure of the structure
between Convention Avenue and 27th Street,
including the on- and off-ramps connecting
South Street and I-76.
The reconstruction
of the South Street Bridge will
have an impact on the day-to-day operations
of commuting to and from the University
of Pennsylvania Health System.
