Preventive women’s health care and screenings
Proactive screenings and tests for conditions like breast cancer, colon cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis are essential for your health. Within our system, you have access to a wide range of screenings and diagnostic tests, including:
- Bone density tests to detect osteoporosis
- Colonoscopy to screen for colon cancer
- Mammograms and other breast imaging to screen for breast cancer

The Women’s Cardiovascular Health Program addresses the unique heart health challenges women experience, especially during life transitions such as menopause. We care for women of all ages who have or are at risk for heart disease. We also provide specialized high-risk pregnancy care for pregnant people with heart conditions, including pre-pregnancy planning to support you before, during, and after pregnancy.
You have access to urogynecology specialists throughout the Penn Medicine system. They provide the full range of pelvic health care, from pelvic floor support to urogynecological surgery.
Our Fully Integrated Rectovaginal Symptom Team (FIRST) clinic addresses colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urogynecological conditions. Located in downtown Philadelphia, this coordinated care model helps you find relief more quickly.
Our specialists deliver comprehensive breast health care for a range of issues, from non-cancerous breast lumps and pain to breast cancer.
