Getting Around the Penn Medicine Campus

The Henry A. Jordan, M’62 Medical Education Center

The Henry A. Jordan, M'62 Medical Education Center (JMEC) is adjacent to the 5th and 6th floors of the Ruth and Raymond Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM) at 3400 Civic Center Boulevard. Also physically connected to the Smilow Center for Translational Research, the Jordan Center is among the first medical education spaces in the nation to be integrated into an active clinical and research facility.

For the Scholarship Celebration Reception on Thursday, May 16, and the Meet and Eat Breakfast on Saturday, May 18, please use the main PCAM entrance on Civic Center Boulevard. From the ground floor of PCAM, take either the elevator or the escalator to the 1st floor, then walk straight ahead past the information desk. Continue walking down the South Pavilion corridor and follow the signs overhead toward the "B" elevators at the end of the corridor. Take the "B" elevators to the 5th floor and you will arrive at the Jordan Center Atrium.

For events in the Jordan Center on Friday, May 17, we recommend using the Smilow Center elevators. From the ground floor of PCAM, take either the elevator or the escalator to the 1st floor, then turn right past the café kiosk toward the West Pavilion. Continue down this corridor, past the first set of elevators and the security booth, and the Smilow elevator bank will be straight ahead. Take the elevator to the 5th floor and enter the Jordan Center through the double glass doors. The Joseph and Loretta Law Auditorium will be to your left, and the registration area will be to your right. Those arriving on our provided shuttle buses will be escorted to the Jordan Center by our staff.

The Joseph and Loretta Law Auditorium is located within the Jordan Center. It is most easily accessed via the Smilow Center elevators.
